I've been listening to The Beatles all my life and yet I have obviously missed a lot. I have recently become acquainted with the work of Aaron Krerowicz who is apparently the only full-time professional Beatles scholar in the USA and is now educating me, one minute at a time…
This little insight, in particular, floored me:
I have listened to both these songs hundreds of times (in fact, while making the Mr. Kite poster, I felt like I just couldn't get that particular song out of my head) and have never noticed the similarity. And yet there it is.
