At the start of December, we entered all our newsletter subscribers into a prize draw and chose one person at random. Our lucky winner this time was Kerry Sutch from Hitchin, UK. Kerry chose to receive a Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite print and said:
I've dreamt about winning the draw for a long time now so this really is a dream come true! Like everyone else who has seen your wonderful print it was lust at first sight for me and I feel honoured that it will now grace my wall. The Beatles are ridiculously important to me, as is beautiful art and design, and in your print I have the perfect combination of all three.
Shown above is a photo of the Market Square in Hitchin from… actually I have no idea of the year. But given how many people are wearing boaters, perhaps it was taken around 1900. If anyone knows what's going on in this photo, please satisfy my curiosity!
Want a chance to win your very own beautiful, limited edition print from us? Sign up to our mailing list by entering your email at the bottom of this page and you'll be automatically entered into our next prize draw.
Today, on what would have been George Harrison’s 82nd birthday, we’re taking a moment to celebrate one of the most influential artists of all time.
Here at Kite, Beatles history is one of our interests. We’ve covered everything from the band’s inception to its breakup, but there’s one Beatles moment we’ll never forget.
