Shortly after 12pm today we conducted the prize draw to win a copy of our limited edition Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite poster. One email address was chosen at random from our newsletter subscribers and it was a lucky day for one man in The Netherlands.
Our winner is Geert van Leeuwen from Amsterdam. Geert is an advertising creative and a huge Beatles fan. He also paints in his free time and has a portfolio online. In response to winning the draw he says, "Thank you so much! That just made my day!". I picked out the image below from Geert's site - seems appropriate enough for this site - great work!
A copy of the Mr. Kite poster will be winging its way to Amsterdam tomorrow...
Our next draw will be in December this year - you might just win a copy in time for Christmas. All subscribers to our newsletter are automatically entered into the draw. If you haven't signed up yet, just enter your email address into the box on the right-hand side of this page.
Order your prints in good time to arrive before Christmas. In this post, we'll suggest the latest times you should order for delivery in the UK, US and beyond.
October 9, 1940 is an important date in Beatles’ history – the day John Lennon was born. Each year, fans across the world celebrate his life and legacy. As one of the most well-known cultural icons of all time, Lennon’s impact on the world was undeniable, as both a musical icon and an advocate for peace.
Today marks a special anniversary for Beatles’ fans – especially for us here at Kite! On the 26th May 1967, the Beatles released Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
