On this day, 53 years ago, John Lennon stumbled upon an antique shop in Sevenoaks, Kent while filming the video for Strawberry Fields Forever. An old circus poster caught his eye, serving as the inspiration for the song Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite! It's evident that during this phase, Lennon had a talent for turning everyday objects and stories into hit songs, as exemplified by A Day in the Life from the album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
