This lucky Beatles fan won a framed Mr. Kite print
If you’ve been here before, you likely know that we run regular prize draws where those subscribed to our mailing list have a chance to win an unframed print of their choice. This month, however, we decided to step things up, and give our UK-based Instagram followers the chance to win a framed, Mr. Kite print. Congratulations to Lisa from Liverpool, who won the ultimate prize! Lisa (@lisastjohnbennett on Instagram) is a truly deserving winner – she’s a lifelong Beatles fan who even runs a second Instagram account where she collects photos of the Beatles and food (the brilliantly named @all_you_need_is_lunch).
When we contacted Lisa to let her know that she’d won, she was elated, and told us that winning the poster is a wish come true:
‘I moved to Liverpool almost a year ago on George Harrison’s birthday. Being a lifelong Beatles fan, it really was fulfilling a dream to move to this wonderful city where The Beatles first began to change the world with their music. Winning the Mr Kite poster is another wish come true and it will without a doubt have pride of place in our new home. Thank you so much Kite, for this beautiful print. I will love it as much as John Lennon did.’
